CITB to sell Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) to NOCN

CITB has agreed to sell its Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) to NOCN Group, one of the sector’s largest Awarding Organisations (AO).

The sale marks an important step in CITB's move away from owning and servicing card schemes. Moving forwards CITB will take a strategic role influencing training competence to ensure that the industry's demands are met, instead of the direct delivery and involvement in card schemes.

For now it is business as usual. CITB and NOCN will be in touch with CPCS centres in the coming weeks to explain more about the transfer.
