Work more efficiently in native Apple Silicon mode
Goodbye Rosetta 2, hello performance: now you can run GMG ColorPlugin natively on computers with Apple Silicon processor and do not longer need to switch to the compatibility mode. Please find more information on the system requirements under the following link: System Requirements
Use GMG ColorPlugin with Adobe® Photoshop® 2022 and later
This version is based on Adobe®'s User Experience Platform (UXP) and thus complies with the new way Photoshop® creates plugins from version 2022 onwards. The panel location in the menu has therefore changed, you can find it now under Plugins > GMG ColorPlugin Panel > GMG ColorPlugin.

This version can only be used with Adobe® Photoshop® 2022 and later.

Automatic check for updates
GMG ColorPlugin will notify you when a new version is available.

Instead of checking the GMG website, downloading a setup, and manually install it, there is now a very easy way to ensure that GMG ColorPlugin is always up to date. When you start the GMG ColorPlugin extension, an arrow down button will be shown in the plugin panel if a new version is available.

You can simply click the Install button to start the download and subsequent installation. All required resources will be downloaded automatically via the internet. Please follow the link for more information: Update GMG ColorPlugin to a New Version

Support of macOS 11 and Apple Silicon CPUs
You can now update your operating system to the latest version by Apple. This version was thoroughly tested on this operating system and officially supports it. Additionally, you can now run GMG ColorPlugin on an Apple Silicon powered Mac using Rosetta.

Select the option Open using Rosetta for Adobe Photoshop in the macOS settings before starting Adobe Photoshop.
