British Retail Consortium invites you to their event

Customs Declarations are changing Jan 1 – are you ready?

About this event

On the 1st of January 2022, full customs declarations will need to be made at the time of import for all goods. This will mean that retailers will take control of their declarations processes, either by it doing themselves, or getting a customs intermediary to do it for them.

Some retailers however are finding this process difficult, and with the deadline rapidly approaching, retailers urgently need to have their systems in place or establish relationships with third-party service providers.

In this webinar from the BRC, along with trade partners Deloitte, we looked at what retailers can do now to prepare, including an introduction to Deloitte self-service system.

In the webinar you’ll learn:

  • What the upcoming rule changes are on customs declarations.
  • The challenges retailers are facing.
  • The changes retailers can make now to prevent issues on the 1st of January and ensure full compliance.
