Quarantine status signage

28 Jun 2021 / New Zealand

New Zealand has changed the Maritime Border Order (MBO) in force, related to the display of signage signifying a vessel’s quarantine status.

Previously, the ship’s master be responsible for arranging the signage that displays a berthed vessel’s quarantine status. Under the MBO, this is now the responsibility of the port.
