The Government of Oman has declared a local holiday from 18 to 22 July to mark Eid Al Adha, during which public and private sector establishments will not operate.
During this period, GAC Oman’s office(s) will be closed for day-to-day work, but a skeleton staff attend to operational & urgent matters. Operations are also will continuing during the lockdown hours (20:00-04:00 hours daily) as lockdown passes have been secured.
After the holiday, a full lockdown will come into effect from 20 to 22 July due to the pandemic situation. This lockdown will be relaxed to between the hours of 17:00 and 04:00 local time from 23 to 30 July.
As advised by Sohar Port Authorities, operations will continue as usual during the holidays and lockdown period.
