Gangavaram Port is always pursuing the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental protection which lead us to introduce part waiver scheme for those vessels using LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) fuel at Gangavaram. This scheme will meet the country’s goal for lower emissions under Green Ports plans and will also encourage the vessels to use LNG as fuel.

50% Waiver Scheme for using LNG as fuel will be offered based on following criteria

  1. Waiver scheme is applicable for all vessels which are running by dual fuel engine using LNG as a primary fuel.
  2. Port will offer 50% discount on port dues, pilotage and berth hire charge.
  3. Above waiver is applicable for those vessels which are using LNG as fuel within Gangavaram Port limits.
  4. For applicable waiver, vessel must produce the IAPP or similar objective evidence in the form of certificate prior arrival at Gangavaram Port limit, which must indicate the specification of the vessel’s engine and fuel details to avail the waiver’s scheme.
  5. Presently, waiver scheme will be effective from 1 August 2021 and remain in force up to 31 January 2022, thereafter it shall be revaluated for the further extension.
