International flights ban extended

The Indian government has further extended the ban on international flights until August 31. It had previously been due to end tomorrow (31 July).

Dedicated cargo flights and flights under the bilateral air bubble pacts with select countries continue to operate. International scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on a case-to-case basis.
