The Maritime Port Authority of Singapore is urging vessel owners and manning officers to re-evaluate their crew rotation planning if they intend to sign off Filipino crew members on their vessels.
This comes after the introduction of new border restrictions in the Philippines forbidding travelers to enter the country if they have been to India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Oman or the UAE.
