Upgrading works at Jurong Port tank terminals

From 23 Aug 2021 to 22 Feb 2022, upgrading works will take place at Jurong Port tank terminals. The works will be carried out at the western end of East Jurong Channel, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates:

2 01˚ 17.980' 103˚ 43.000’

3 01˚ 17.800' 103˚ 43.000'

4 01˚ 17.800’ 103˚ 42.840'

Working hours are from 0730 hours to 1930 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.

The upgrading works entail installation of pipelines and valves using a remotely operated vehicle.

A safety boat will be in attendance at all times to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of the working area.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;

b) Maintain a proper lookout;

c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;

d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 (West Control);

and

e) Communicate with West Control for assistance, if required.
