Barnes Rail Bridge arch closure

On or about 24 August, contractors working on behalf of Hounslow Borough Council will be closing number 1 arch of Barnes Rail Bridge to navigation for a period of approximately four months.

This is to facilitate the construction of the new Dukes Meadow Footbridge.

Delivery of materials, construction of a causeway and piling operations will be taking place in the closed arch.

Arches closed to navigation will be marked in accordance with the Port of London Authority Thames Byelaws 2012.
