Construction of new temporary jetty off Woodlands Jetty

From 18 September to 31 December, construction work is being carried off Woodlands Jetty, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1 01° 27·307' N / 103° 46·949' E
2 01° 27·346' N / 103° 46·911' E
3 01° 27·398' N / 103° 46·965' E
4 01° 27·360' N / 103° 47·002' E

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.067 of 2021 dated 17 September 2021, the working hours are 24 hours daily, including Sundays and Public Holidays.

Construction works will be carried out by crane barge supported by a tug boat. A safety boat will be in attendance to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear of the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and to navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
