The Central Marine Office, located at 3/F, Harbour Building, 38 Pier Road, Central, Hong Kong, will open from 0900 hours to 1100 hours on 1 October 2021 (Friday) for processing arrival and port clearance of all vessels.
In the event that a black rainstorm warning signal is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory during the above period, the office will remain open as scheduled. However, if Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is issued, the office will close immediately.
Furthermore, if any one of the above warnings is issued less than 2 hours before 0900 hours, or has been issued and remains in force after 0700 hours, the arrangements will be as follows –
(a) if the warning is cancelled before 1200 hours, the office will open on the same day from 1400 hours to 1600 hours;
and
(b) if the warning is cancelled after 1200 hours, the office will open on 2 October 2021 (Saturday) from 0900 hours to 1100 hours.
