A scientific buoy has been established to the North of the Hong Kong International Airport for collecting data.

The particulars of the buoy are as follows:

Shape: Pillar
Colour: Yellow
Light Characteristics: Fl(5) Y.20s
Top Mark: Yellow “X”
Radar Reflector: Fitted
Automatic Identification System: Fitted

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and give a wide berth to the buoy.
