Dredging in Temasek Fairway

The working period for dredging works in the Temasek Fairway has been extended. The work will now be conducted from 6 November 2021 to 05 May 2022.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.072 of 2021, the works will be carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

8. 01° 14·714' N / 103° 39·571' E
9. 01° 14·759' N / 103° 39·683' E
10. 1° 14.170' N / 103° 39.674' E
11. 1° 14.211' N / 103° 39.774' E
12. 1° 14.256' N / 103° 39.885' E
13. 1° 13.667' N / 103° 39.877' E

Dredging works will be carried out by dredgers, supported by barges, tugs and work boats.

A safety boat will be in attendance to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear of the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and to navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control for assistance, if required.
