Construction of temporary loading jetty

From 11 November 2021 to 10 May 2022, construction work is being carried out for a temporary loading jetty at SP-1 (Tuas View).

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.079 of 2021, the work is being conducted 24 Hours - including Sunday & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

1. 1°16·649′N / 103°36·815′E
2. 1°16·723′N / 103°36·781′E
3. 1°16·768′N / 103°36·879′E
4. 1°16·694′N / 103°36·912′E

The construction of jetty involves installing, piling, compaction and lifting of construction materials using excavator. No Marine craft involved in the construction of temporary loading jetty. The construction is from land towards the sea.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear of the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and to navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
