This meeting at the RCP Edinburgh offers medical students, trainees, fellows and doctors the opportunity to present their clinical, basic science, interventional and translational initiatives and receive recognition for their work and research.
Successful applicants will be invited to present their work at the Nephrology President’s Prize Day 2021 for consideration of the Stewart Cameron Science Award, Rosemary Baillod Clinical Award, David Oliveira Medical Student Award and Images in Nephrology Award.
The Nephrology Section invites medical students, trainees, fellows and doctors to submit abstracts in fields of clinical nephrology, basic science research, education initiatives, audits and governance, case reports, along with visual images in nephrology.
This event will:
- Learn about current basic science and translational research in renal medicine
- Present innovative research in the field of nephrology
- Value visual representation of the interventional disciplines that underpin nephrology
- Provide a forum for nephrologists to discuss their experiences and expertise
This meeting has been supported by the following organisations who have provided funding in the form of educational grants: British Heart Foundation, British Pharmacological Society, GSK, Kidney Research UK, Travere Therapeutics and Vifor Pharma.
