Marine works inside Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter

For approximately six months, the marine works involving reinstatement of moorings and anchorages [are being] carried out in the following works areas:

WORKS AREA 1
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D):
(A) 22° 17.201’N 114° 11.254’E
(B) 22° 17.183’N 114° 11.260’E
(C) 22° 17.079’N 114° 11.163’E
(D) 22° 17.131’N 114° 10.991’E

WORKS AREA 2
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (E) to (H):
(E) 22° 17.142’N 114° 11.238’E
(F) 22° 17.090’N 114° 11.266’E
(G) 22° 17.069’N 114° 11.180’E
(H) 22° 17.078’N 114° 11.177’E

The works [are being] carried out by two work boats. A working area of approximately 30 metres around each work boat [is] established.

The hours of work is from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works [are being] carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works [do] not stay in the works areas outside the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
