Revision of port dues rates

The MPA would like to remind the Port and Shipping Community that the revisions to port dues rates – which were circulated in Port Marine Circular No. 11 of 2021, will take effect from 1 January 2022.

We also take this opportunity to remind the Port and Shipping Community that the Category 3 and Category 4 concessionary port dues rates are only applicable for vessel calls that satisfy the criteria listed below:
Port Dues Category Criteria

Category 3 concessionary port dues for vessels undergoing repairs, docking, outfitting, maintenance, building or conversion works:
1) Must declare ‘Repair/Docking/Outfitting at Shipyard’ as purpose of call in the Vessel General Declaration Form;
and
2) Must call at an MPA-specified shipyard

Category 4 concessionary port dues for offshore support vessels carrying out offshore activities (without cargo operations):
1) Must be an MPA-approved offshore support vessel;
2) Must declare ‘Offshore Support Vessel without Cargo Operations’ as purpose of call in the Vessel General Declaration Form;
3) Must not carry out cargo operations within the same vessel call;
and
4) Must call at an MPA-specified offshore marine facility/anchorage.

The revised port dues rates will be made available on MPA’s corporate website (www.mpa.gov.sg) from 1 January 2022.
