Logistics operations after Typhoon Odette

20 Dec 2021 / Philippines

In the aftermath of Typhoon Odette, GAC has managed to reactive a number of its ground teams 48 hours after the onslaught.

For Mindanao, GAC Philippines has resumed logistics operations throughout, especially Davao and Cagayan De Oro, with the exception of Ozamis, Dipolog and Butuan, where logistics and communications constraints remain.

For Cebu, Palawan and the rest of Visayas, GAC is assessing the viability of immediately and safely jumpstarting operations, given the impact of the storm.

Air and/or sea movement to Visayas from Luzon is being done on a limited operational scale with coordination with partner carriers and shipping lines.
