According to local information from ZAWIA refinery management, production has resumed in the El Sharara, El Feel, Wafa and Hamada oil fields, which the National Oil Company still consider to be under Force Majeure.
Akakus Oil Operations Company has announced on its Facebook page that the operations of El Sharara oil field had resumed, and that Hamada station is pumping crude to the ZAWIA Shore tanks.
The company praised the efforts of all those who contributed to the opening of the crude production line from the field, as well as El Sharara field for their role in restarting and resuming production operations.
