Restricted area in Kwun Tong Typhoon Shelter

A restricted area [is] established between 0800 hours on 27 June 2022 and 2359 hours on 4 July 2022, in Kwun Tong Typhoon Shelter to facilitate activities in connection with the celebration of 25th Anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR at the Kwun Tong promenade.

A wall art of 11 metres height will be displayed on board a flat top barge inside the restricted area during the period mentioned above.

The Restricted Area is formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22〫18.803’N 114〫12.908’E
(B) 22〫18.773’N 114〫12.943’E
(C) 22〫18.752’N 114〫12.928’E
(D) 22〫18.790’N 114〫12.893’E

Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid at the above co-ordinates to indicate the boundaries of the restricted area.

During the aforementioned period, no vessels, other than Government launches, will be allowed to enter or remain within the restricted area. All vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the restricted area.
