With immediate effect and for a period of approximately two months, sediment sampling works will be carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (G):
(A) 22º 17.366’ N 114º 23.409’ E
(B) 22º 16.590’ N 114º 25.987’ E
(C) 22º 15.993’ N 114º 25.985’ E
(D) 22º 15.991’ N 114º 26.100’ E
(E) 22º 15.126’ N 114º 26.107’ E
(F) 22º 14.574’ N 114º 24.536’ E
(G) 22° 15.185’N 114° 24.601’E
The works will be carried out by two flat top work barges assisted by one tugboat and one launch. A working area of approximately 100 metres around each barge will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the barges. The hours of work will be round-the-clock. Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
