Abu Dhabi Maritime permit is compulsory and are pre-requisites for maritime infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi Emirate such as offshore platforms, whatever the purpose, fixed or floating, including, but not limited to, floating platforms for generating power, platforms for floating desalination plants and in general any structure installed in Abu Dhabi waters.
Public and private entities involved in the execution of these projects in Abu Dhabi Emirate must obtain permit from Abu Dhabi Maritime through Approvals Services Platform which can be accessed using the following website https://noc.dmt.gov.ae.
All projects that are executed in Abu Dhabi waters are subject to regulations, legislation and standards issued by Abu Dhabi Maritime, and the necessary measures will be taken in case of any violation in this regard.
