Ennore Coal Terminal has advised that the tariffs for users of the coal terminal at Karnarajar will be revised with effect from 1 February, as follows:

STEVEDORING & HANDLING CHARGES

  • Cargo handling charges including loading onto trucks: Rs.285 per MT

  • Cargo handling charges including loading onto wagons -
    To promote/incentivise cargo movement by rail, effective use of terminal railways infrastructure and considering environmental benefits, the following charges for railway cargo (wagon loading) are proposed:
    - Without any minimum cargo guarantee (MGC) volume (for wagon loading): Rs. 240 per MT
    - With MGC volume of 1.5 Mn MT per annum (MTPA) (for wagon loading): Rs. 200 per MT
    a) Customer must declare up front MGC volume with minimum cargo volume of 1.50 Mn tonnes per annum prorate on periodic basis.
    b) On declaration of MGC, the cargo handling charges of Rs. 200 per MT shall be applicable on entire quantity handled.
    c) In case of shortfall in MGC quantity, the commitment amount of Rs. 100 per MT shall be payable on the shortfall quantity (MGC less actual quantity handled).

WHARFAGE
Rs. 50 per MT

The above charges will be levied on the Bill of Lading quantity.

BERTH HIRE
Rate per Gross Tonnage (GT) per hour of part thereof:
- Coastal vessel: Rs. 055 per GT per hour
- Foreign vessel: USD 0.0175 per GT per hour

The vessels should be ready for sailing in all respects within 2 hours of completion of cargo work. If not, the vessel will be liable for additional berth hire charges, to be calculated from the time of expiry of 2 hours from the time cargo work is completed until the time the vessel leaves the berth.

Additional berth hire charges are in addition to normal berth hire charges and are payable as follows:
i) for the first 12 hours or part thereof equivalent to berth hire charges
ii) above 12 hours of part thereof at 2 times the rate of berth hire charges

For a vessel ready to sail in all respects but unable to do so due to port operational requirements, berth hire charges will cease after 2 hours from the time of completion of cargo work.

WATERING CHARGES
As per customers’ requirements and will differ from ship to ship and cargo type.

STATUTORY DUES, GOODS & SERVICE TAX AND OTHER LEVIES
Extra as applicable from time to time.
