Crew change protocol

11 Jul 2022 / Mauritius

Since 1 July, crew members and vessel personnel no longer need to present a negative PCR test before flying to Mauritius, nor do they need to self-isolate or test upon arrival.

Prior to travel, it is recommended – but not mandatory - to fill out the Mauritius All in One travel form, which can be accessed via the link https://safemauritius.govmu.org which will generate a PDF document with a QR Code. If the All-in-One travel form has not been filled out, crew members/vessel personnel must fill out an Immigration Disembarkation Card upon arrival at the airport.

Hotel reservations shall be booked through the vessel’s port agent prior to departure from origin.

Wearing a surgical or N95/FFP2 mask during the flight is mandatory, as is the wearing of a mask at the airport and port.

Any crew that have tested positive for COVID-19 within 7 days of departure shall not be allowed to board a flight to Mauritius.

If a crew / passenger tested positive, 7 days quarantine/self-isolation is mandatory. People who have tested positive for COVID for less than 8 days before arrival in Mauritius must remain on board.

It is recommended to bring your vaccination certificate.

Shore leavers are allowed for vessel at anchorage/quay and that the wearing of the mask is mandatory in the port area/hospital/common transport.
