Construction of subsea pipeline

For a period of approximately four months, construction of subsea pipeline [is being] carried out [from northwest of Tai O to West of Fan Lau] along the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (J):
(A) 22° 15.752’N / 113° 50.664’E
(B) 22° 15.264’N / 113° 50.263’E
(C) 22° 15.081’N / 113° 50.133’E
(D) 22° 14.883’N / 113° 50.030’E
(E) 22° 14.100’N / 113° 49.639’E
(F) 22° 13.828’N / 113° 49.573’E
(G) 22° 13.550’N / 113° 49.616’E
(H) 22° 13.273’N / 113° 49.653’E
(I) 22° 12.167’N / 113° 49.904’E
(J) 22° 11.975’N / 113° 49.961’E

The works [are being] carried out by two dumb lighters. One tugboat, two special purpose vessels, one flat-top barge and two guard boats provide assistance.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around each lighter is established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights and radar reflectors are laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the lighters.

The hours of work are round-the-clock.

Diving operations [are being] carried out from time to time during the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear of the works area at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working in the area.
