Demurrage rate for bulk vessels

Henceforth, for all bulk vessels [calling at Dhamra], it will be required to provide demurrage rates when declaring the vessel.

In case the demurrage rates are not available at the time of vessel declaration, the same will have to be provided prior to the filing of IWPM, failing which the vessel will not be considered for berthing.

All delays, detention and cost arising from non-submission of demurrage rates will be on vessel’s account.

This circular is being issued to avoid dispute which otherwise take place after the vessel has completed her cargo operation and sailed out from the port. This circular comes into force with immediate effect.
