Navigator Terminals Seal Sands has advised that due to fender replacement work on Jetty 2, an outage is planned from 13 to 17 June, during which time no vessels will be able to load/discharge/layby.
Jetty 2 was designed and built in 1970 and during the 50 years it has been in service it has had multiple repairs, modifications, and upgrades. Following an inspection carried out on Jetty 2, the terminal is now required to carry out essential works on the fenders to ensure we continue to maintain the availability of the Jetty. This project will be carried out in phases over a couple of years.
