Annual indexation of Scale of Rates

The Indian Ports Association has announced the indexation factor in the Scale of Rates (SoR) of all Major Port Authorities as per the Tariff Policy for Major Port Authorities, 2021, for the year 2022-23 effective from 1 May 2022.

Accordingly, as per the indexation factor announced by the lndian Ports Association, competent authority of Cochin Port Authority has approved to escalate the SoR of the Port i.e. cargo related charges, hire charges for Port equipment, container related charges (wharfage, ground rent etc.), CFS related charges and other miscellaneous charge (except VCN cancellation charge) by 10.77% and vessel related charges & VCN cancellation charge by 6.46% with effect from 1 May based on the performance standards achieved by Cochin Port for the year 2021-22.
