For the sector
Let’s come together to stop the exploitation of disabled creatives and arts workers (and all other creatives too).
Last year, we ran a survey to see just how many disabled artists, arts workers and creatives were regularly expected to do something for nothing.
With over 300 responses to date, we can confirm that 87% in the cultural sector have been asked to do something for nothing and only 2% never do so.
Commissions
Disabled artists and disabled-led work are often marginalised by the cultural sector. Our mission is to commission extraordinary work from disabled artists until the whole of the cultural sector does. By showcasing and supporting the amazing breadth and quality of work by disabled artists, we want to open doors for our artists to work with other organisations, too.
If you can’t find the information you need, please get in touch and we will do our best to recommend artists and companies for you to contact.
For artists
We commission, fund and promote disabled-led work. We work with disabled artists to support and further their work and career. The artists with whom we work are changing the world. If you’d like to be one of them, find out more and connect with us.
