Polypharmacy: Getting the balance right
The Health Innovation Network is hosting two sessions as part of the Preventing Problematic Polypharmacy programme. They are:
7 May 12pm to 1.30pm - Anticholinergic burden and the Medichec ABC calculator Masterclass. Anticholinergic medicines are prescribed for a wide range of conditions, and in older people the burden can be severe. The session is open to GPs, pharmacisits, nurse prescribers and other interested healthcare professionals. Register here.
12 May, 12pm to 1.30pm - NHS Business Services Authority polypharmacy prescribing comparators. The session will help primary care and other colleagues better understand the variation in prescibing several medicines. Register here.
Innovation Insights: The barriers to implementing AI in healthcare - and how to overcome them
