Popeyes UK is launching its breakfast range across the UK, featuring meal deals starting from just £1.99. The Popeyes Big Cajun Roll features sausage, Cajun hash brown, free-range egg, bacon, American cheese and Cajun ketchup, all nestled in a brioche bun. For those craving a kick of New Orleans spice, customisation options are available at no extra cost. With plans to double the number of locations in the UK, Popeyes aims to introduce a taste of Louisiana spirit into breakfast.

03 KFC & Little Caesars Pizza Launches
With consumers seeking indulgence, there are plenty of new pizza innovations happening in the States to cater to this trend. Little Caesars are showcasing it’s new Sicilian-Style pizza, featuring four slices of deep-dish pizza topped with cheese, pepperoni, a buttery garlic spread and finished with a parmesan cheese crust. Meanwhile, KFC is bringing its ‘Chizza’ creation to American menus. The Chizza features two extra crispy fillets, topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni. This comes after KFC learn its younger consumer demographic new and exciting products, rather than its traditional bone-in chicken options.

04 Gulfood 2024 Highlights
Today marks the close of the Gulfood 2024 exhibition that brings together retailers, food suppliers, distributors, wholesalers, chefs and thought leaders from around the world. This year, more than 190 countries were represented with over 5,500 exhibitors present. Beyond the wide array of exhibitors, Gulfood hosted panel sessions with over 80 food futurists and a live culinary showcase starring over 100 celebrity and international chefs.

05 McDonald's or WcDonald's?
McDonald’s is launching a global campaign in response to anime and manga fans’ spoof of the brand. The brand is making WcDonald’s a reality with the release of a limited edition Savory Chili Sauce, custom packaging and four short episodes created with animation house, Studio Pierrot. McDonald’s is also offering a WcDonald’s Immersive Dining Experience in LA through 360 projection mapping and immersive tabletop projections. The campaign will be launched in more than 30 markets around the world.

06 Arby's & IHOP Indulgent Offerings
Consumers in the United States can avail of Arby’s and IHOP’s latest indulgent menu additions. Arby’s Brown Sugar Bacon Sandwiches are making a comeback. These sandwiches will be available for a limited time in three formats: BLT, Roast Beef and Turkey, each topped with crispy bacon and served on a King’s Hawaiian bun. Additionally, IHOP has expanded its menu with the launch of the Meaty, Cheesy ‘N Crispy Mega Omelette. Featuring smoked sausage, diced ham, cheese, hash brown, cheese sauce, green peppers and onions, it can be served with any side.

09 Snacking d’Or Winners 2024
The Snacking d’Or winners by France Snacking 2024 have been revealed. Over 163,000 votes were cast earlier this month resulting in 41 distinguished food products, packaging or equipment. The Chicken Ramen from Foodiz’s Fresh Mood brand won the Meal Solutions category while Forezia Snacking’s Kroketa Bayonne Ham PGI won Aperitif Products & Concepts. Raja’s reusable pizza box won the Anti-Waste Solutions category as an alternative to single-use cardboard boxes.
