US researchers have demonstrated how poor biosecurity in transport vehicles may play a key role in the transmission of African Swine Fever (ASF). They found that scrupulous cleaning of staff transport vehicles could provide the biggest reduction in transmission from these networks, with further reductions possible through pig transportation vehicles.
